हस्त्यश्वरथपादातं यथास्थानं न्यवेशयत्‌ । रास्तेमें एक ऐसा स्थान मिला जहाँ घास और जलकी सुविधा थी। दुर्योधन अपने वाहनोंको वहीं छोड़कर एक सुन्दर एवं रमणीय भूभागमें अपनी रुचिके अनुसार ठहर गया। हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदल सैनिकोंको भी उसने यथास्थान ठहरनेकी आज्ञा दे दी

Transliteration

hasty-aśva-ratha-pādātaṃ yathā-sthānaṃ nyaveśayat |

Translation

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Duryodhana hizo apostarse en sus lugares debidos a los elefantes, los caballos, los carros y la infantería. Al hallar junto al camino un paraje conveniente, provisto de hierba y agua, dejó allí sus vehículos y, según su gusto, se estableció en una comarca hermosa y deleitosa: un campamento ordenado en plena marcha por el bosque.
