Vyāsa’s Consolation to Yudhiṣṭhira: Tapas, Kāla, and the Difficulty of Dāna (दान-तपस्-विवेकः)
ततः सुतुमुलं युद्ध गन्धर्वाणां तरस्विनाम् । बभूव भीमवेगानां पाण्डवानां च भारत
tataḥ sutumulaṃ yuddhaṃ gandharvāṇāṃ tarasvinām | babhūva bhīmavegānāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca bhārata ||
Entonces estalló una batalla feroz y tumultuosa entre los poderosos Gandharvas y los Pāṇḍavas, cuyo ímpetu era como el de Bhīma, ¡oh Bhārata! El choque se presenta como una oleada abrumadora de fuerza, que tensa el hilo moral entre el valor y la contención en medio de un conflicto súbito.
