Bhīṣma’s Admonition; Duryodhana’s Rājasūya Aspiration and the Proposal of a Vaiṣṇava-satra

अड्कयामास वसत्सांश्व॒ जज्ञे चोपसूतांस्त्वपि । बालवसत्साश्न या गाव: कालयामास ता अपि

aṅkayāmāsa vatsāṁś ca jajñe copasūtāṁs tv api | bālavatsāś ca yā gāvaḥ kālayāmāsa tā api ||

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Hizo marcar y contar también a los terneros, y mandó registrar debidamente a las vacas recién paridas. Incluso aquellas cuyas crías eran aún muy pequeñas fueron anotadas por separado y apartadas—para que el rebaño se administrara con orden y claridad.
