प्रविशन्तं वनद्वारि गन्धर्वा: समवारयन् | सेनाग्रयं धार्तराष्ट्रस्य प्राप्तं द्वैतवनं सर:,दुर्योधनका सेनानायक द्वैतवन सरोवरके अत्यन्त निकटतक पहुँच गया था, उस वनके द्वारपर पैर रखते ही उसको गन्धर्वोने रोक दिया
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
praviśantaṃ vanadvāri gandharvāḥ samavārayan |
senāgrayaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrasya prāptaṃ dvaitavanaṃ saraḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Cuando la vanguardia del ejército de Dhṛtarāṣṭra llegó junto al lago del bosque de Dvaitavana y quiso entrar por la puerta del bosque, los Gandharvas le cerraron el paso.
