भग्वज्धिरोभि: सहितो दैवतैश्वानुपूजित: । कमण्डलुके दाहिने भागमें जाते हुए तेजस्वी दण्डकी बड़ी शोभा हो रही थी। उसके साथ भूगु और अंगिरा आदि महर्षि थे और देवता भी बार-बार उसका पूजन करते थे

bhagvagdhirorobhiḥ sahito daivataiś cānupūjitaḥ | kamaṇḍaluke dāhine bhāgame jāte huye tejasvī daṇḍakī baṛī śobhā ho rahī thī | tasya saha bhṛgu-aṅgirādayo maharṣayaḥ āsan, devatāś ca punaḥ punaḥ tasya pūjanaṃ kurvanti sma |

Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: “Acompañado por venerables sabios y honrado una y otra vez por los dioses, el radiante Daṇḍakī avanzaba, llevando a su lado derecho su kamaṇḍalu, el jarro de agua del asceta. Con él iban grandes videntes como Bhṛgu y Aṅgiras, y las deidades, una y otra vez, le rendían reverencia.”
