मातर ऊचु: परिरक्षाम भद्ठं ते प्रजा: स्कन्द यथेच्छसि । त्वया नो रोचते स्कन्द सहवासभ्षिरं प्रभो,माताओंने कहा--स्कन्द! जैसी तुम्हारी इच्छा है, उसके अनुसार हम उन संतानोंकी रक्षा अवश्य करेंगी। शक्तिशाली कुमार! हमें दीर्घकालतक तुम्हारे साथ रहनेकी इच्छा है
mātara ūcuḥ—parirakṣāma bhadraṁ te prajāḥ skanda yathecchasi | tvayā no rocate skanda sahavāsabhīraṁ prabho ||
Las Madres dijeron: «Oh Skanda, por tu bien protegeremos sin falta a la progenie, exactamente como tú lo deseas. Oh Señor poderoso, anhelamos la seguridad y la bendición de vivir en tu compañía por largo tiempo».
