चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

एवं देवगणै: सर्वे: सो5भिषिक्त: स्वलंकृत: । बभौ प्रतीत: सुमना: परिपूर्णेन्दुमण्डल:,इस प्रकार समस्त देवताओंद्वारा सेनापतिके पदपर अभिषिक्त होकर विविध आभूषणोंसे विभूषित, विशुद्ध एवं प्रसन्न हृदयवाले स्कन्द पूर्ण चन्द्रमण्डलके समान सुशोभित हुए
evaṃ devagaṇaiḥ sarvaiḥ so’bhiṣiktaḥ svalankṛtaḥ | babhau pratītaḥ sumanāḥ paripūrṇendumāṇḍalaḥ ||
Así, ungido por todas las huestes de los dioses para el cargo de comandante de las fuerzas divinas y adornado con espléndidos ornamentos, Skanda—puro y gozoso en su interior—resplandeció como el disco de la luna llena.
