All capacities that sustain life—initiative, radiance, peace, and strength—are ultimately expressions of a single divine Power (Śakti). When aligned with dharma, that power becomes the cause of rightful victory and protection of cosmic order.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a vision in which Śakti, embodying the universal energies present in all beings, appears before the divine leader (contextually Kumāra/Kārttikeya) and is portrayed as the force that enhances the gods’ success in their struggle.
