बिभेद स शरै: शैलं क्रौज्चं हिमवत: सुतम् । तेन हंसाश्न गृध्राश्ष॒ मेरुं गच्छन्ति पर्वतम्,उन बाणोंद्वारा उन्होंने हिमालयके पुत्र क्रौज्च पर्वतको विदीर्ण कर दिया। उसी छिठ्रमें होकर हंस और गृध्र पक्षी मेरु पर्वतको जाते हैं
bibheda sa śaraiḥ śailaṁ krauñcaṁ himavataḥ sutam | tena haṁsāś ca gṛdhrāś ca meruṁ gacchanti parvatam ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Con sus flechas hendió el monte Krauñca, hijo de Himavat. Por aquella hendidura pasan cisnes y buitres en su camino hacia el monte Meru.
