तत् समासाद्य नगरं सौभं व्यपगतत्विषम् । मध्येन पाटयामास क्रकचो दार्विवोच्छितम्,उस दिव्यास्त्रने सौभनगरमें पहुँचकर उसे श्रीहीन कर दिया और जैसे आरा ऊँचे काठको चीर डालता है, उसी प्रकार सौभविमानको बीचसे काट डाला
tat samāsādya nagaraṃ saubhaṃ vyapagatatviṣam | madhyena pāṭayāmāsa krakaco dārvivocchitam ||
Dijo Vāyu-deva: «Al alcanzar la ciudad llamada Saubha, la despojó de su esplendor; y luego, como una sierra que hiende un alto tronco, partió la fortaleza aérea de Saubha por la mitad».
