Skanda–Mātṛgaṇa-janma: Kumārakāḥ, Kanyāgaṇāḥ, and the Vīrāṣṭaka (स्कन्द-मातृगण-सम्भवः)
अथाप्युपायं पश्येत दुःखस्य परिमोक्षणे | अशोचचन्नारभेतैवं मुक्तश्नाव्यसनी भवेत्,अतः दुःखसे छूटनेके उपायको अवश्य देखे। शोक और विषादमें न पड़कर आवश्यक कार्य आरम्भ कर दे। इस प्रकार प्रयत्न करनेसे मनुष्य निश्चय ही दुःखसे छूट जाता है और फिर किसी संकट या व्यसनमें नहीं फँसता
athāpy upāyaṃ paśyet duḥkhasya parimokṣaṇe | aśocac chann ārabhetaivaṃ muktaś cāvyasanī bhavet ||
Por ello, debe buscarse un medio práctico para liberarse del sufrimiento. Sin caer en el duelo ni en el abatimiento, hay que emprender lo que debe hacerse. Con tal esfuerzo, el hombre se libra sin duda de la pena y no vuelve a caer en calamidad o vicio.
व्याध उवाच
Do not remain trapped in grief; instead, actively seek a remedy and begin the necessary action. Practical effort, guided by steadiness of mind, leads to release from suffering and prevents further downfall into misfortune or harmful habits.
The Vyādha (hunter) continues his instruction, advising that when confronted with distress one should not collapse into lamentation but should take up appropriate action and search for a way out, emphasizing ethical resilience and disciplined conduct.
