शीतश्च वायु: प्रववी प्रयाणे तस्य धीमत: । विपांसुलां महीं कुर्वन् ववर्ष च सुरेश्वर:,उन बुद्धिमान् राजा कुवलाश्वचके यात्राकालमें शीतल वायु चलने लगी। देवराज इन्द्र धरतीकी धूल शान्त करनेके लिये वर्षा करने लगे
śītaś ca vāyuḥ pravavī prayāṇe tasya dhīmataḥ | vipāṃsulāṃ mahīṃ kurvan vavarṣa ca sureśvaraḥ ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Cuando aquel rey prudente emprendió su marcha, comenzó a soplar un viento fresco. Y el señor de los dioses, Indra, envió la lluvia, asentando el polvo de la tierra y dejando el suelo libre de remolinos—un augurio propicio y una protección que ampara el empeño conforme al dharma y alivia las fatigas del camino.
