ततो व्योम महाराज शतसूर्यमिवाभवत् । शतचन्द्रं च कौन्तेय सहस्नायुततारकम्,कुन्तीपुत्र महाराज युधिष्ठिर! इसके बाद आकाश सौ सूर्योसे उदभासित-सा दिखायी देने लगा। उसमें सैकड़ों चन्द्रमा और करोड़ों तारे दिखायी देने लगे
tato vyoma mahārāja śatasūryam ivābhavat | śatacandraṃ ca kaunteya sahasrāyutatārakam ||
Entonces, oh gran rey, el cielo pareció como si estuviera iluminado por cien soles. Oh hijo de Kuntī, también resplandeció con cien lunas y con estrellas por miles y decenas de miles: una sobrecogedora manifestación celeste que anunciaba un giro decisivo, cargado de potencia divina.
