Chapter 20
प्रयातो5स्मि नरव्यात्र बलेन महता वृतः । क्लृप्तेन चतुरड्रेण यत्तेन जितकाशिना
prayāto ’smi naravyāghra balena mahatā vṛtaḥ | kḷptena caturaṅgeṇa yatnena jitakāśinā ||
Dijo Vāsudeva: «Oh tigre entre los hombres, he partido rodeado de una gran fuerza: un ejército dispuesto conforme a las cuatro armas, conducido con esfuerzo disciplinado por quien ha conquistado Kāśī».
वासुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights responsible action in a political-military context: undertaking a mission with proper preparation, disciplined effort, and organized resources, while addressing the listener with respect and urging a heroic standard of conduct.
Vāsudeva reports that he has set out accompanied by a large, properly organized fourfold army, associated with a leader described as having conquered Kāśī—indicating a significant mobilization and a purposeful expedition.
