तदेतद्‌ राज्ञों महाभाग्यमप्युक्तवान्‌ नारद:,“इस प्रकार साक्षात्‌ नारदजीने राजा शिबिकी महत्ताका अपने मुखसे वर्णन किया”

tad etad rājño mahābhāgyam apy uktavān nāradaḥ |

Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Así fue como Nārada refirió también al rey este relato de gran fortuna y mérito excelso, describiendo con su propia boca la grandeza del rey Śibi y la noble altura ética de su conducta.
