स चेम॑ संकुलं लोकं प्रसादमुपनेष्यति । उत्थितो ब्राह्मणो दीप्त: क्षयान्तकृदुदारधी:,वह उदारबुद्धि, तेजस्वी ब्राह्मण, दुःखसे व्याप्त हुए इस जगत्‌को आनन्द प्रदान करेगा। कलियुगका अन्त करनेके लिये ही उसका प्रादुर्भाव होगा

Transliteration

sa cemaṁ saṅkulaṁ lokaṁ prasādam upaneṣyati | utthito brāhmaṇo dīptaḥ kṣayāntakṛd udāradhīḥ ||

Translation

Y Mārkaṇḍeya dijo: «Él traerá consuelo y claridad a este mundo, ahora caído en la confusión. Alzándose como un brahmán radiante —noble en mente e intención— será el agente que ponga fin a la decadencia de la era: aparecerá precisamente para terminar el curso opresivo del Kali-yuga y restaurar el bienestar».
