अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
आखयातस्ते मया चात्मा दुर्जेयो हि सुरासुरै:,ब्रह्मर्ष! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें अपने स्वरूपका उपदेश किया है, जिसका जानना देवता और असुरोंके लिये भी कठिन है। जबतक महातपस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्माका जागरण न हो, तबतक तुम श्रद्धा और विश्वासपूर्वक सुखसे विचरते रहो
ākhyātaste mayā cātmā durjeyo hi surāsuraiḥ, brahmarṣe |
La Deidad dijo: «Ahora te he declarado mi verdadera naturaleza. En verdad, es difícil de comprender—hasta para dioses y asuras. Por ello, oh brahmarṣi, hasta que despierte el gran asceta, el Señor Brahmā, debes seguir andando con sosiego, sostenido por la fe y la confianza».
