The verse highlights auspicious divine signs—radiance and the Śrīvatsa mark—as indicators of sacred presence. Ethically, it frames reverent perception: recognizing dharmic auspiciousness and divinity through qualities that inspire humility, devotion, and trust in higher order.
Vaiśampāyana describes a revered figure’s appearance: dark-blue radiance like a flax flower and a chest marked with Śrīvatsa. The narrator’s perception intensifies into a devotional vision, seeing him as the very abode of Lakṣmī.
