Sarasvatī–Tārkṣya Saṃvāda: Agnihotra-vidhi, Dāna-phala, and Mokṣa-prasaṅga (सरस्वती–तार्क्ष्यसंवादः)
ऋषयस्ते महात्मान: प्रत्यक्षागमबुद्धयः । कर्मभूमिमिमां प्राप्प पुनर्यान्ति सुरालयम्,लौकिक तथा शास्त्रीय ज्ञानको प्रत्यक्ष करनेवाले वे महामना ऋषि इस कर्मभूमिमें आकर फिर देवलोकमें चले जाते हैं
ṛṣayas te mahātmānaḥ pratyakṣāgamabuddhayaḥ | karmabhūmim imāṃ prāpya punar yānti surālayam ||
Mārkaṇḍeya dijo: «Aquellos videntes magnánimos, cuya comprensión se apoya tanto en la realización directa como en la autoridad de la tradición sagrada, vienen a este mundo—el campo donde se obran los actos—y, cumplido aquí su propósito, parten de nuevo hacia la morada de los dioses.»
