Sarasvatī–Tārkṣya Saṃvāda: Agnihotra-vidhi, Dāna-phala, and Mokṣa-prasaṅga (सरस्वती–तार्क्ष्यसंवादः)
यथानिरुद्धस्य यथाभिमन्यो- यथा सुनीथस्य यथैव भानो: । तथा विनेता च गतिश्व कृष्णे तवात्मजानामपि रौक्मिणेय:,“कृष्णे। रुक्मिणीनन्दन प्रद्युम्म जिस प्रकार अनिरुद्ध, अभिमन्यु, सुनीथ और भानुको धनुर्वेदकी शिक्षा देते हैं, उसी प्रकार वे तुम्हारे पुत्रोंके भी शिक्षक और संरक्षक हैं
yathāniruddhasya yathābhimanyo yathā sunīthasya yathaiva bhānoḥ | tathā vinetā ca gatiś ca kṛṣṇe tavātmajānām api raukmiṇeyaḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: “Oh Kṛṣṇe, así como Raukmineya (Pradyumna) es el instructor y guía de Aniruddha, Abhimanyu, Sunītha y Bhānu, así también es el maestro y protector de tus hijos.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the dharmic ideal of responsible mentorship: a capable elder (Pradyumna) should not only teach skills but also serve as a steady guide and protector for the younger generation.
Vaiśampāyana reassures/addressingly states to Kṛṣṇe that Pradyumna, famed as Rukmiṇī’s son, functions as instructor and dependable support—just as he trains certain noted youths, he likewise trains and safeguards her sons.
