वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is sustained not only by personal virtue (Yudhiṣṭhira as dharmātmā) but also by supportive relationships—brotherly solidarity (Bhīma) and the counsel/presence of a guiding sage (Dhaumya). The return to the āśrama symbolizes re-centering life around disciplined, ethical order during adversity.
After meeting with his brother Bhīma, Yudhiṣṭhira—together with Bhīma and the sage Dhaumya—returns to their hermitage in the forest. The line functions as a narrative transition, reuniting key figures and restoring the group to their ascetic dwelling.
