अन्ये मामभ्यधावन्त निवातकवचा युधि । शितशस्त्रायुधा रौद्रा: कालरूपा: प्रहारिण:,दानवोंद्वारा की गयी वह शूलोंकी बड़ी भारी वर्षा निरन्तर मेरे रथपर होने लगी। उसके साथ ही गदा और शक्तियोंका भी प्रहार हो रहा था। कुछ दूसरे निवातकवच हाथोंमें तीखे अस्त्र-शस्त्र लिये उस युद्धके मैदानमें मेरी और दौड़े। वे प्रहार करनेमें कुशल थे। उनकी आकृति बड़ी भयंकर थी और देखनेमें वे कालरूप जान पड़ते थे
arjuna uvāca | anye mām abhyadhāvanta nivātakavacā yudhi | śitaśastrāyudhā raudrāḥ kālarūpāḥ prahāriṇaḥ ||
Dijo Arjuna: «En aquella batalla, otros demonios Nivātakavaca se lanzaron directamente contra mí. Feros e implacables, portaban armas y proyectiles de filo acerado; diestros en herir, eran aterradores—como la misma figura de la Muerte—resueltos a descargar sus golpes.»
