हिरण्यपुरवर्णन–रौद्रास्त्रप्रयोगः

स सम्प्रहारस्तुमुलस्तेषां च मम भारत | अवर्तत महाघोरो निवातकवचान्तक:ः,भारत! तब उन दानवोंका और मेरा महाभयंकर तुमुल संग्राम आरम्भ हो गया, जो निवातकवचोंके लिये विनाशकारी सिद्ध हुआ
sa samprahāras tumulas teṣāṃ ca mama bhārata | avartata mahāghoro nivātakavacāntakaḥ ||
Arjuna dijo: Oh Bhārata, entonces se alzó un choque feroz y tumultuoso entre aquellos Dānavas y yo: una batalla de intensidad espantosa, que resultó ser la destructora de los Nivātakavacas. En este momento, el relato subraya el deber del guerrero de enfrentar el adharma sin vacilar, y la inevitabilidad de que la arrogancia violenta halle su fin cuando se le opone una resolución firme y un propósito justo.
