अयं च शंखप्रवरो येन जेतासि दानवान् | अनेन विजिता लोका: शक्रेणापि महात्मना,“यह श्रेष्ठ शंख है, जिसे बजानेसे तुम्हें दानवोंपर विजय प्राप्त हो सकती है। महामना इन्द्रने भी इसके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण लोकोंपर विजय पायी है'
ayaṃ ca śaṅkhapravaro yena jetāsi dānavān | anena vijitā lokāḥ śakreṇāpi mahātmanā |
Arjuna dijo: «Y este es el más excelso caracol de guerra; al hacerlo sonar podrás vencer a los dānavas. Con este mismo caracol, se dice que incluso Śakra (Indra), de gran alma, alcanzó el señorío sobre los mundos».
अजुन उवाच
Legitimate power is portrayed as power aligned with dharma: the conch symbolizes auspicious, divinely endorsed victory, suggesting that triumph should serve the restoration of order rather than personal domination.
Arjuna identifies a supreme conch and praises its efficacy, saying it can secure victory over the Dānavas and citing Indra’s own conquests as precedent, thereby encouraging confidence through a revered, sacred emblem of success.
