पुष्करिण्यश्न विविधा: पद्मसौगन्धिकायुता: । शीतस्तत्र ववौ वायु: सुगन्धी जीवन: शुचि:,वहाँ सहस्रों सौगन्धिक कमलोंसे अलंकृत नाना प्रकारके सरोवर शोभा पाते हैं और शीतल, पवित्र, सुगन्धित एवं नवजीवनदायक वायु सदा बहती रहती है
puṣkariṇyaś ca vividhāḥ padmasaugandhikāyutāḥ | śītas tatra vavau vāyuḥ sugandhī jīvanaḥ śuciḥ ||
Arjuna dijo: «Allí hay muchos estanques de lotos, hermosos y variados, adornados con fragantes lotos saugandhika. Una brisa fresca sopla sin cesar en aquel lugar—pura, perfumada y vivificante—de modo que el propio aire parece renovar la vitalidad.»
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights the purifying and life-renewing quality of a sacred, harmonious environment—where beauty (lotus-ponds), purity (śuci), and wholesome vitality (jīvana) coexist—suggesting that proximity to such places supports inner clarity and well-being.
Arjuna is describing a remarkable region characterized by many lotus-ponds filled with fragrant saugandhika lotuses and a continuously blowing cool, pure, fragrant breeze, emphasizing the place’s auspicious and refreshing atmosphere.
