एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु सर्ववादित्रनि:स्वन: । बभूव तुमुल:ः शब्दस्त्वन्तरिक्षे दिवौकसाम्,इसी समय अन्तरिक्षमें देवताओंके सम्पूर्ण वाद्योंकी तुमुल ध्वनि गूँज उठी
etasminn eva kāle tu sarvavāditra-niḥsvanaḥ | babhūva tumulaḥ śabdas tv antarīkṣe divaukasām ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: En aquel mismo instante se alzó en el cielo un estruendo poderoso y tumultuoso: el resonante clamor de todos los instrumentos musicales de los dioses, señal de una presencia divina y de un giro propicio en el curso de los acontecimientos.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
