पक्षिणामिव निर्घोष: कुबेरसदनं प्रति । बभूव परमाश्चानामैरावतपथे यथा,जैसे इन्द्रपुरीके मार्गपपर चलनेवाले विविध वाहनोंका कोलाहल सुनायी पड़ता है, उसी प्रकार कुबेरभवनके प्रति यात्रा करनेवाले उत्तम अश्वोंका शब्द ऐसा जान पड़ता था, मानो पक्षी उड़ रहे हों
pakṣiṇām iva nirghoṣaḥ kuberasadanaṃ prati | babhūva paramāśvānām airāvatapathe yathā ||
Mientras avanzaban hacia la morada de Kubera, el sonido de los mejores caballos se alzó como el clamor de aves en vuelo, tal como en el camino a la ciudad de Indra se oye el bullicio de muchos carruajes espléndidos. El verso acrecienta el sentido de un viaje sagrado y de otro mundo: hasta el ruido común del trayecto se vuelve fino y auspicioso cuando se dirige a una mansión divina.
