स देवपितृगन्धर्वै: कुरूणां कीर्तिवर्धन: । मानित: कुरुते5स्त्राणि शक्रसझनि भारत,भारत! कुरुकुलकी कीर्ति बढ़ानेवाले अर्जुन इन्द्रभवनमें देवताओं, पितरों तथा गन्धर्वोंसे सम्मानित हो अस्त्रविद्याका अभ्यास करते हैं
sa devapitṛgandharvaiḥ kurūṇāṃ kīrtivardhanaḥ | mānitaḥ kurute 'strāṇi śakrasadmani bhārata ||
Kubera dijo: «Oh Bhārata, Arjuna —quien acrecienta la fama de los Kurus— mora en la celeste mansión de Indra. Honrado por los dioses, los Pitṛs y los Gandharvas, practica con diligencia y perfecciona la ciencia de las armas divinas.»
