इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः
Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
तैश्नतुर्भिमहेष्वासैर्गिरिशुड्रमशो भत । लोकपालैर्महाभागैर्दिवं देववरैरिव,जैसे महान् भाग्यशाली देवश्रेष्ठ इन्द्र आदि लोकपालोंके द्वारा स्वर्गलोककी शोभा होती है, उसी प्रकार उन चार महाधनुर्धर बन्धुओंसे उस समय वह पर्वत-शिखर सुशोभित हो रहा था
taiś caturbhir maheṣvāsair giriśṛṅgram aśobhat | lokapālair mahābhāgair divaṁ deva-varair iva ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Aquel pico de la montaña resplandecía entonces por aquellos cuatro poderosos arqueros, hermanos entre sí, así como el cielo es adornado por los ilustres Lokapālas, los guardianes de los mundos, los más excelsos entre los dioses. El verso subraya que la verdadera excelencia y la destreza disciplinada pueden conferir esplendor a un lugar cuando se llevan con dignidad y no con arrogancia.
