इन्द्रस्य पाण्डवैः समागमः
Indra’s Meeting with the Pāṇḍavas
तेजोबलगुणोपेता नानारत्नविभूषिता: । शोभमाना रथे युक्तास्तरिष्यन्त इवाशुगा:,फिर तो सेवकोंने सुनहरे बादलोंकी घटाके सदृश विशाल पर्वतशिखरके समान ऊँचा रथ जोतकर तैयार किया। उसमें सुवर्णमालाओंसे विभूषित गन्धर्वदेशीय घोड़े जुते हुए थे। वे सर्वगुणसम्पन्न उत्तम अश्व तेजस्वी, बलवान् और अश्वोचित गुणोंसे युक्त थे। उनकी आँखें निर्मल थीं और उन्हें नाना प्रकारके रत्नमय आभूषण पहनाये गये थे। रथमें जुते हुए वे शोभाशाली अभश्व शीघ्रगामी थे। उन्हें देखकर ऐसा जान पड़ता था, मानो वे अभी सब कुछ लाँघ जायँगे
tejobalaguṇopetā nānāratnavibhūṣitāḥ | śobhamānā rathe yuktās tariṣyanta ivāśugāḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Los caballos veloces, uncidos al carro, dotados de fulgor, fuerza y excelencia, y adornados con múltiples joyas, resplandecían como si estuvieran a punto de saltar y franquear cuanto se interpusiera en su camino. La escena subraya la preparación regia y el servicio disciplinado: el poder no aparece como mero ornato, sino como una disposición ordenada y deliberada para la tarea que aguarda.
