Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
ततो वैश्रवणावासं ददर्श भरतर्षभ: । काज्चनै: स्फाटिकैश्वैव वेश्मभि: समलंकृतम्,तदनन्तर भरतश्रेष्ठ भीमसेनने कुबेरका निवासस्थान देखा, जो सुवर्ण और स्फटिकमणिके बने हुए भवनोंसे विभूषित था
tato vaiśravaṇāvāsaṃ dadarśa bharatarṣabhaḥ | kāñcanaiḥ sphāṭikaiś caiva veśmabhiḥ samalaṅkṛtam |
Entonces Bhīmasena, toro entre los Bharatas, contempló la morada de Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera). Estaba engalanada con palacios labrados en oro y cristal, mostrando el esplendor de una prosperidad justa y la majestad que acompaña a la tutela divina.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the grandeur associated with a divine guardian of wealth, suggesting that prosperity and splendor, when aligned with rightful order, can signify divine stewardship rather than mere indulgence.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Bhīma (the foremost of the Bharatas) comes to and beholds Kubera’s residence, described as richly adorned with golden and crystal mansions.
