Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
कानि चाभ्यवहार्याणि तत्र तेषां महात्मनाम् । वसतां लोकवीराणामासंस्तद् ब्रूहि सत्तम,साधुशिरोमणे! वहाँ निवास करते समय विश्वविख्यात वीर महामना पाण्डवोंके भोज्य पदार्थ क्या थे? यह बतानेकी कृपा करें
janamejaya uvāca | kāni cābhyavahāryāṇi tatra teṣāṁ mahātmanām | vasatāṁ lokavīrāṇām āsan tad brūhi sattama ||
Janamejaya dijo: «Dímelo, oh el mejor de los hombres: mientras aquellos Pāṇḍavas de gran alma—héroes renombrados entre el pueblo—vivían allí, ¿qué alimentos tenían a su alcance y de qué se sustentaban? Te ruego que me lo expliques.»
जनमेजय उवाच

King Janamejaya asks the narrator to describe what kinds of food and provisions the great Pāṇḍavas had while residing in that place during their forest life, seeking concrete details of their daily living.
