Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
तान् प्रस्थितानभ्यगच्छद् वृषपर्वा महीपति: । उपन्यस्य महातेजा विप्रेभ्य: पाण्डवांस्तदा,उस समय उनके प्रस्थान करनेपर महातेजस्वी राजर्षि वृषपर्वाने पाण्डवोंको (उस देशके जानकार अन्य) ब्राह्मणोंके सुपुर्द कर दिया और कुछ दूर पीछे-पीछे जाकर उन कुन्तीकुमारोंको आशीर्वाद देकर प्रसन्न किया। तत्पश्चात् उन्हें रास्ता बताकर वृषपर्वा लौट आये
tān prasthitān abhyagacchad vṛṣaparvā mahīpatiḥ | upanyasya mahātejā viprebhyaḥ pāṇḍavāṁs tadā |
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Cuando los Pāṇḍavas ya se habían puesto en marcha, el rey Vṛṣaparvan se acercó a ellos. Aquel soberano, poderoso y radiante, confió entonces a los Pāṇḍavas a brāhmaṇas eruditos que conocían la región. Caminó un trecho tras ellos, les dio bendiciones y alegró a los hijos de Kuntī; y luego, tras indicarles la ruta, Vṛṣaparvan regresó.
