Bhīma’s Entry into Kubera’s Nalinī and the Taking of Saugandhika Lotuses (सौगन्धिकोत्पल-ग्रहणम्)
चमूं विगाह्[ शत्रूणां शरशक्तिसमाकुलाम् | यदा सिंहरवं वीर करिष्यसि महाबल,“महाबली वीर! जब तुम बाण और शक्तिके आघातसे व्याकुल हुई शत्रुओंकी सेनामें घुसकर सिंहनाद करोगे, उस समय मैं अपनी गर्जनासे तुम्हारे उस सिंहनादको और बढ़ा दूँगा। उसके सिवा अर्जुनकी ध्वजापर बैठकर मैं ऐसी भीषण गर्जना करूँगा, जो शत्रुओंके प्राणोंको हरनेवाली होगी, जिससे तुमलोग उन्हें सुगमतासे मार सकोगे।” पाण्डवोंका आनन्द बढ़ानेवाले भीमसेनसे ऐसा कहकर हनुमानजीने उन्हें जानेके लिये मार्ग बता दिया और स्वयं वहीं अन्तर्धान हो गये
camūṁ vigāhya śatrūṇāṁ śaraśakti-samākulām | yadā siṁha-ravaṁ vīra kariṣyasi mahā-bala ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh héroe de gran fuerza, cuando te lances al corazón del ejército enemigo—aturdido por los golpes de flechas y lanzas—y alcances un rugido de león, yo acrecentaré ese rugido con mi propio clamor atronador. Y además, sentado sobre el estandarte de Arjuna, soltaré un bramido terrible que arrebate el aliento mismo a los enemigos, para que podáis abatirlos con facilidad». Dicho esto a Bhīmasena, cuyas hazañas alegran a los Pāṇḍava, Hanumān le mostró el camino para partir y desapareció en aquel mismo lugar.
