वैशम्पायन उवाच भीमसेनस्तु तद् वाक््यं श्रुत्वा तस्य महात्मन: । प्रत्युवाच हनूमन्तं प्रह्ष्टेनान्तरात्मना,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! महात्मा हनुमानजीका यह वचन सुनकर भीमसेनने हर्षोल्लासपूर्ण हृदयसे हनुमानजीको इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया--“वानरशिरोमणे! आपने मेरा यह सब कार्य कर दिया। आपका कल्याण हो। महाबाहो! अब आपसे मेरी इतनी ही कामना है कि आप मुझपर प्रसन्न रहिये--मुझपर आपकी कृपा बनी रहे
vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhīmasenas tu tad vākyaṃ śrutvā tasya mahātmanaḥ | pratyuvāca hanūmantaṃ prahṛṣṭenāntarātmanā ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Al oír aquellas palabras de aquel magnánimo, Bhīmasena respondió a Hanūmān con el corazón, por dentro, colmado de júbilo: dio gracias por la ayuda recibida y pidió sólo esto: que Hanūmān permaneciera complacido con él y continuara otorgándole su favor.
