Allí no obres con precipitación arrancando tú mismo las flores. Pues a los dioses, en verdad, se les debe honra—y más aún por parte de los seres humanos.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Humans should practice restraint and avoid impulsive acts, especially in contexts connected with the divine; reverence toward deities is presented as a clear norm of dharma.
Vaiśampāyana narrates an instruction or caution: when going to a place associated with flowers (and implicitly with divine presence), one should not hurriedly pluck them oneself, because such spaces and their offerings are to be treated with respect.
