Bhīma–Hanūmān Dialogue on Yugas (युगवर्णनम्)
वैशम्पायन उवाच विज्ञाय तं बलोन्मत्तं बाहुवीर्येण दर्पितम् | हृदयेनावहस्यैनं हनूमान् वाक्यमब्रवीत्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! भीमसेनको बलके अभिमानसे उन्मत्त तथा अपनी भुजाओंके पराक्रमसे घमंडमें भरा हुआ जान हनुमानजीने मन-ही-मन उनका उपहास करते हुए उनसे इस प्रकार कहा
vaiśampāyana uvāca vijñāya taṃ balonmattaṃ bāhuvīryeṇa darpitam | hṛdayenāvahasyainaṃ hanūmān vākyam abravīt |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Al reconocer que Bhīmasena estaba embriagado de fuerza y henchido de orgullo por el poder de sus brazos, Hanūmān—sonriendo para sus adentros, como burlándose—le habló con estas palabras.
