ततो रेणु: समुद्धूत: सपत्रबहुलो महान् । पृथिवीं चान्तरिक्षं च द्यां चैव सहसा55वृणोत्,फिर धूल और पत्तोंसे भरा हुआ बड़ा भारी बवंडर (आँधी) उठा, जिसने पृथ्वी, अन्तरिक्ष तथा स्वर्गको भी सहसा आच्छादित कर दिया
tato reṇuḥ samuddhūtaḥ sapatrabahulo mahān | pṛthivīṃ cāntarikṣaṃ ca dyāṃ caiva sahasā vṛṇot ||
Entonces se alzó de pronto una inmensa nube de polvo, espesa y mezclada con hojas. En un instante se extendió como un velo, oscureciendo la tierra, la región media del cielo y aun los mismos cielos.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how sudden disturbances in nature can function as narrative omens—suggesting that when order is shaken, one should be alert, restrained, and attentive to dharma, rather than careless or complacent.
A powerful whirlwind or dust-storm, laden with leaves, rises abruptly and blankets the earth, the atmosphere, and even the heavens, creating darkness and foreboding and marking an intensification of the scene.
