Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
तस्य विष्णुर्महातेजा: पाणिना चेतनां हरत् । स पपात ततो भूमौ गिरिराज इवाहतः,ऐसा कहकर महातेजस्वी भगवान् विष्णुने हाथसे मारकर उस दैत्यके प्राण हर लिये और वह वच्रके मारे हुए गिरिराजकी भाँति पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़ा
tasya viṣṇur mahātejāḥ pāṇinā cetanāṃ harat | sa papāta tato bhūmau girirāja ivāhataḥ ||
Entonces el poderoso y radiante Viṣṇu lo golpeó con Su mano y le arrebató el aliento vital. El demonio cayó a la tierra, como un rey de las montañas hecho añicos por un rayo de vajra.
