गन्धमादन-हिमवत्प्रयाणे युधिष्ठिर-भीमसंवादः

इति मे वर्तते बुद्धिर्मा राजन् विमना भव | सुकुमारौ तथा वीरौ माद्रीनन्दिकरावुभौ । दुर्गे संतारयिष्यामि यत्राशक्तौ भविष्यत:,राजन! मेरा ऐसा ही विचार है, आप उदास न हों। वीर माद्रीकुमार नकुल और सहदेव दोनों सुकुमार हैं। जहाँ कहीं दुर्गम स्थानमें ये असमर्थ हो जायँगे वहाँ मैं इन्हें पार लगाऊँगा
iti me vartate buddhir mā rājan vimanā bhava | sukumārau tathā vīrau mādrīnandikarāv ubhau | durge santārayiṣyāmi yatrāśaktau bhaviṣyataḥ ||
«Ésta es la determinación que se mantiene firme en mi mente; oh rey, no te abatas. Nakula y Sahadeva, los dos heroicos hijos de Mādrī, aunque valientes, son de complexión delicada. Allí donde el sendero se vuelva peligroso y no puedan avanzar, yo los haré pasar a salvo.»
