The verse highlights the Mahābhārata’s theme that extraordinary, divinely shaped events can suspend ordinary expectations—here, a wondrous birth occurs without the king being overtaken by death—inviting reflection on fate, divine ordinance, and the limits of human prediction.
Lomaśa narrates a miraculous emergence of a highly radiant child, while emphasizing that Death does not ‘enter’ or seize him; the situation involving King Yuvanāśva is described as an astonishing marvel.
