The verse underscores dharma in two linked forms: completing a vowed rite without lapse, and honoring those who contribute to its success. Social and divine recognition (sabhājana) is portrayed as a fitting response to fulfilled duty and gratitude.
King Sagara respectfully honors Aṁśumān and then concludes the sacrificial ceremony. After the yajña is completed, all the gods collectively honor Sagara for the successful completion of the rite.
