Así concluye el capítulo centésimo primero del Mahābhārata, en el Vana Parva, dentro del Tīrthayātrā Parva, en el marco del relato de peregrinación de Lomasha, relativo al episodio de la muerte de Vṛtra.

As a colophon, the line primarily teaches how the Mahābhārata organizes instruction: ethical exemplars (like the Vṛtra-slaying episode) are embedded within a pilgrimage frame, presenting sacred travel as a setting for remembering paradigmatic deeds and reflecting on duty, consequence, and exemplary conduct.
This is the chapter-ending notice: it states that the 101st chapter—within Vana Parva’s Tīrthayātrā Parva, during Lomasha’s pilgrimage narration—focused on the upākhyāna about Vṛtra’s slaying, and that this chapter is now complete.
