Educational Q&A

The verse underscores how intimidation and overwhelming force can encircle the righteous; dharmic steadiness is measured not by the absence of danger but by composure and resolve when confronted by vigilant, weapon-ready hostility.

A place or target is described as being surrounded and guarded on all sides by gigantic Kālakeya demons, weapons raised, compared to horned mountains—an image meant to convey near-impenetrable defense and imminent violence.
