Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
धृतराष्ट्रं पुरस्कृत्य भीष्मद्रोणादयस्तत: । आसनेभ्यो5चलन् सर्वे पूजयन्तो जनार्दनम्,उस समय भीष्म और द्रोणाचार्य आदि सब लोग भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका सम्मान करनेके लिये राजा धृतराष्ट्रको आगे करके अपने आसनोंसे उठकर आगे बढ़े
dhṛtarāṣṭraṁ puraskṛtya bhīṣma-droṇādayas tataḥ | āsanebhyo 'calan sarve pūjayanto janārdanam ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Poniendo al rey Dhṛtarāṣṭra al frente, Bhīṣma, Droṇa y los demás se levantaron de sus asientos y avanzaron, rindiendo honores a Janārdana (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). La escena subraya la ética cortesana: aun con el conflicto a las puertas, se ofrece el debido respeto a un huésped venerable y a una autoridad moral.
