Even amid political tension, dharmic conduct is shown through honoring virtue and moral authority. Rising to receive Kṛṣṇa reflects recognition that ethical counsel and restraint should precede force.
Kṛṣṇa arrives at the Kuru court; Dhṛtarāṣṭra, along with the elders Droṇa and Bhīṣma, stands up from his seat to receive him respectfully, marking the seriousness of the impending negotiations.
