vaiśampāyana uvāca |
etad u vidhāya vai sarvaṃ devārham atimānuṣam |
ācarkhyau dhṛtarāṣṭrāya rājā duryodhanas tadā ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Habiendo dispuesto así todo de un modo digno de los dioses—algo en extremo fuera del alcance común de los hombres—el rey Duryodhana informó entonces de todo ello a Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how extraordinary arrangements and displays of grandeur can be used to shape perception and decision-making; ethically, it invites reflection on whether power and spectacle serve dharma or merely political advantage.
After making all preparations in a splendid, almost god-like manner, Duryodhana goes to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and reports what has been arranged, moving the courtly sequence of counsel and strategy forward.
