वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid political tension, dharma is upheld through proper conduct: honoring a worthy guest with prescribed respect, blessings, and water symbolizes self-restraint, civility, and recognition of moral order.
A group approaches Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa) and receives him formally, performing customary worship and respectful hospitality rites, including benedictions and the offering of water.
