स श्रुत्वा माधवं यानन््तं सदश्वैरनिलोपमै: । बलेन नातिमहता द्वारकामभ्ययात् पुरीम्,जब उसने सुना कि श्रीकृष्ण विराटनगरसे द्वारकाको जा रहे हैं, तब वह वायुके समान वेगवान् उत्तम अश्वों तथा एक छोटी-सी सेनाके साथ द्वारकापुरीकी ओर चल दिया
sa śrutvā mādhavaṁ yāntaṁ sadaśvair anilopamaiḥ | balena nātimahatā dvārakām abhyayāt purīm ||
Al oír que Mādhava (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) se ponía en camino, él también se dirigió hacia la ciudad de Dvārakā, acompañado de excelentes caballos veloces como el viento y de una fuerza no muy grande—obrando con prontitud ante la crisis política que se desplegaba y las urgentes exigencias del dharma.
