Message to the Kuru Assembly
एते हापि यथैवाहं मन्तुमरहसि तांस्तथा । सर्वे धर्मविदो होते तुल्यस्नेहाश्व भारत
ete hāpi yathaivāhaṃ mantum arhasi tāṃs tathā | sarve dharmavido hote tulyasnehāś ca bhārata ||
Dice Vidura: «Debes considerar a estos hombres tal como me consideras a mí. Yo también hablo sólo por el bienestar de los Kauravas; por eso, escúchame. Droṇa el maestro, Kṛpa, Vikarṇa y el rey Bāhlīka son igualmente tus bienhechores; hónralos como me honrarías a mí. Oh descendiente de Bharata, todos ellos conocen el dharma y guardan igual benevolencia hacia los hombres de ambos bandos».
